“THE PRIME MINISTERS”

by Yehuda Avner

The first 50 years of the state of Israel written by a man who served four successive Israeli Prime Ministers, the giants of their day.

It is the story of the life struggle of a new nation, small in territory, poor in natural resources, surrounded by enemies, absorbing vast numbers of penniless immigrants from the Holocaust in Europe and from Arab and Muslim lands, and at the same time to sustain an army capable of defending – in war after war- its vulnerable citizens. The Prime Ministers is a precisely crafted prism through which to view current Middle East affairs.
